El maquillaje para cine consiste en dar vida a un personaje y acompañar la historia, la emoción, la dirección artística y la credibilidad de la imagen.
Desde la lectura del guion hasta el trabajo de continuidad, analizo la época, el estilo, las heridas, su evolución y las necesidades del personaje para crear un maquillaje coherente de una escena a otra.
En rodaje, doy mucha importancia a la higiene, la adaptabilidad, la continuidad y la comodidad de los actores. El paso por maquillaje debe seguir siendo un momento para ellos, ya sea para concentrarse, repasar o simplemente desconectar.
Mi objetivo es crear un maquillaje creíble y alineado con la visión del director y del departamento de arte, ya sea belleza, trabajo de personaje o efectos más específicos.

For me, film makeup is about giving life to a character and supporting everything that exists around them: the story, the emotion, the visual direction, and the technical details that make the final image believable.
I love being part of the process behind what the audience will only see for a few minutes on screen: reading the script, analysing the period, style, injuries, emotions, and character evolution, then preparing continuity documents to make sure every detail stays coherent from one scene to another.
On set, I pay close attention to continuity, hygiene, adaptability, and the comfort of the actors. I believe the makeup chair should feel like a calm and caring moment before they step into character.
My goal is to create makeup that feels credible within the script and aligned with the director’s and art department’s vision, whether it is natural camera-ready skin, character work, beauty, injuries, fatigue, dirt, or SFX.
